Trans-Siberian Orchestra announces 2010 winter tour dates
Dates for the Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s 2010 winter tour have been announced!
The orchestra kicks off its winter season on Nov. 3 in Youngstown, Ohio, and wraps things up on Dec. 31 in St. Louis, Mo. Along the way, they’ve also got stops on Nov. 18 in Washington, D.C.; Nov. 21 in Pittsburgh; Dec. 15 in Boston; and more!
The beauty of an orchestra is that it can be in more than one place at one time, so nearly each tour date over the two-month span is double-booked. For instance, on Dec. 12, the TSO will be playing in both Rochester and Vancouver at 8 p.m.
“When someone goes to a TSO concert, we don’t want them to walk away saying ‘that was a great show’ or ‘that was worth it’ or even ‘that was the best show I’ve seen in a long time,’” TSP founder, producer and writer Paul O’Neill told musicremedy.com. “We want them to say, ‘Man, that the best show ever; we just ripped that band off.’”
